All available reservations for the Mass Save Great Appliance Exchange were taken within two and a half hours on April 22.

Those individuals holding the more than 39,000 reservations were sent applications, purchases have been made, and the first rebate checks have been sent out. Reservation holders now have until July 31, 2010 to take delivery of their new appliances, have the old, inefficient ones picked up for recycling, and submit the necessary paperwork.

NOTICE: The Rebate Application Form contains the original purchase and postmark dates.  Please use the extended date.

Qualifying Appliances* Rebate Offered

Clothes Washers (.PDF or .XLS) $175

The total rebate amount for any one appliance category cannot exceed the purchase price of the appliance.

If you have questions about available products, most retailers in Massachusetts have been certified and have qualified lists in the stores. Please call your local retailer as they are your best source for identifying qualified products.

Steps to Complete the Rebate Process

Submit your completed rebate form (postmarked by July 31, 2010) and include: a copy of a recent electric bill with account number for installation address; a copy of sales receipt showing purchase date, store address, brand name, complete appliance model number, and sales price for each product sold; and a copy of delivery document confirming old units were hauled away and new unit was installed at a Massachusetts address.  For those retailers that do not have delivery documentation, please click here for a form.  Customers will either need to submit documentation from their retailer or the form provided here for deliveries 4/29/10 and after.
