You apply for energy assistance programs through a Community Action Program (CAP) in your area. In some communities, a local fuel assistance agency will be your contact.
To find your local Community Action Program for information about fuel assistance and other energy efficiency programs and services, please follow these steps:
- Visit the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development website.
- Select your town from the drop-down menu at the top of the page.
- Look for the Community Action Program contact information or separate listings for Fuel Assistance, Weatherization Services, and Heating System Services.
